Digital Menu — contactless ordering for restaurants
The problem. Printed menus go stale the moment a price changes, and reprinting
costs time and money. Guests wait for someone to take an order that could have been placed
the moment they sat down.
What I built. A browser-based QR menu with category filtering and add-ons, order
tracking, and WhatsApp notification. Orders arrive at the kitchen immediately. The menu is
fully bilingual with real RTL, not a bolt-on translation.
A deliberate decision. Payment is not built in. Orders are settled the way the
venue already settles them — cash or card at the table — and online payment can be enabled
later when a provider is connected. That kept rollout simple and avoided forcing venues
into a payment contract they did not ask for.
